In 2013 we wanted to prove to moms and kids that Target has everything young trendsetters need to start their school year off right. Our solution was #KidsGotStyle, a real-time response campaign via Target's Instagram feed.

I was responsible for an interactive Instagram activation and targeted (heh) radio ads.

Instagram Activation

2013 Webby Award Honoree and the first-ever brand event to use Instagram.

Created back when Instagram had just released video that could only be shot natively in the app. These short stop motion films were all created in real time, with sound, within the Instagram app.

#KidsGotStyle, he does. The fashion force is strong with this one.

Radio Ads

To capture their authentic thoughts about going back-to-school, we interviewed real kids, then helped them craft their own words into scripts that focused on self-expression.

The spots were designed to appeal to kids and their parents during the morning drive, when both are listening to the radio together.
